The Universe is Beautiful

I might not be super feeling super "Steven universey" right now but drawing these two has been a long time coming. 

I adopted these two lovelies a while while back from who ended up giving the idea for their backstory which I honestly loved. I'll go ahead and quote it here
"I just sort of imagine Aquamarine being sent to find a noble (Violet Sapphire) after they've apparently gone missing. Only problem is, when she does track him down, it turns out he actually ran away from homeworld and isn't in trouble at all. Now she's stuck trying to drag him back as he's trying to explore space."
(I'm actually not entirely sure if I want to keep violet a he or change it to she I made them look pretty feminine here but I dunno lol)

Reguardless I've wanted to draw them and actually develop their story for so long. I don't know exactly what their story is going to be. I might try turning it into a thing with friends or something but idk for now take this picture that I think turned out pretty fun XD
