This needs some explanation, yes?
Alright, lets go.

First of all, no, none of them are related by blood XD
I feel as there;s no way for me to explain this without a long story... so gather round kiddos its story time!


It all started with Ezikel, the void creature with the top hat up there.
So as if it wasn't enough, Lunaverse doesn't only have parallel dimensions, miror worlds, multiverse theory, and other planets... There is also a world outside of reality and planes of existance. Ezikel is a creature that existes outside of existance, and like any immortal, powerful creature, he enjoys visiting other worlds and universes just to basically troll around and see what's going on. At one point though, Ezikel started to get the feeling that all powerful beings get after a while. Pure bordem... and y'know... trying to find a purpose in existance. 

Soon after visiting a world that was way too peacful boring for his liking he went to his little portal back to his "house" but didn't realize a sneaky kid was following him. It took him way too long to notice and when he finally found her, he was royally startled. No one had seen his true form, let alone knew about his little "pocket dimension" and now he had no clue what to do about this kid. Long story short, they went on a bit of an adventure to try and find the exact world she came from. When they finally found it the girl refused to go back and revealed that she was actually an orphan with no relations. Some how, she managed to convince Ezikel to keep her around... well more like she said "I'll tell everyone about you and your secrets" and he begrudingly kept her around. The kid's name was Melody, that silver haired faun in the top left.

It became normal for Ezikel to take Melody on his venture's. One in particular lead them to a world almost entirly covered by water. It had a lot of bizzare mermaid's that were pretty teritorial. At one point Melody got lost... somehow... and met a mermaid kid who was walking on land, a lot better then some of the others could. They sort of hit it off right away and Melody ended up telling him all about her wacky life. When Ezikel found them Melody demanded for them to take her new buddy with them. Ezikel of course refused and said it was bad enough he had taken Melody with him. Eventually however, the mermaid kid put up the argument that he had nothing to loose and didn't his pod would hardly notice. Their combined persistance finally made Ezikel throw his hands up and take the kid with them. This kid (in the top right) was later named "Xander" because his old name was too hard to pronounce.

Eventually the trio came across a more destructive world with a hell of a lot of ruins. Melody and Xander ended up convincing Ezikel to let them explore on their own which was probably a mistake on his part. During their venture, they got attacked by something scrawny and half their size, who turned out to be a young gobblin girl. It wasn't hard for them to stop her before distracting her tantrum with the offering of some food they'd brough with them. After she'd be subdued, they tried talking to her. it was hard to understand much of what she said (I mean Xander has an accent but man this kid was on another level- The only way they understood anything was because Xander's species are telepaths and he was begginng to devolp his abilities) It basically summed up to how apperently the kid was a runt who'd been abandoned in these ruins for days now. Both Melody and Xander took pity on her and they brought her to Ezikel, and second verse, same as the first, they convinced him to keep her. She became that blue gobin in the bottom left, who they named Jinx.

Ezikel became even more wary about interacting with other species, even eforcing some rules to Melody, Xander, and Jinx about what they can and can not do. He ended up promising himself that there would be no more "Melodys, Jinxs, or Xanders" but that promise didn't last forever.

When they reached the next world, Xander decided he wanted to stay at home and make sure Jinx didn't destroy the place. Ezikel happily let him since it meant one less kid to keep up with. Melody however still wanted to go with him. What they dicovered in this world shocked Melody. This very fantasy "fairy tale" world had fauns like her! Although they were different, they we're unmistably fauns. Ezikel was quick to tell her how with the amount of different planes that existed there could be many different versions of the same creature. (How's that for confusing? Not ONLY does Lunaverse have ass loads of different universes, timelines, etc, but there's multiple versions and combinations of litterally everything XD Thank god I'm not trying to delve into everything that exists in Lunaverse) However, despite this magical revelation, Melody was devestaded to find out the terrible truth that these fauns were an enslaved race, enslaved by the many other fantasy races. They found this out when they came across a slave auction. Ezikel was quick to try and leave, deciding it wasn't worth spending anymore time there. Melody was resistant, however, when a mother with a baby went on auction. She ended up begging for Ezikel to do something and after it was clear she wouldn't stop, he gave in and shapeshifted to a more appropriate form and he ended up winning the bid (I mean come on he's a void creature he can create objects from thin air-) To keep things brief, they took the mother to their portal, Ezikel took his true form again, he was too irritated to explain much, Melody explained everything to a very spooked mother. Once everything was clear however, Melody told the mother that she and her baby were basically freed and could come with them to escape this world. However, she turned down their offer. This took both Melody and Ezikel by surprise. The mother explained that she was greatful for the freedom, but she refused to leave the rest of her people. She didn't know what she could do to help, but she wanted to do something. After this, she ended up handing Melody her baby before saying, "I do want you to take her, all I want is her to be free, and if you can give her that... Well she's better in your hands." Finally she turned to Ezikel and, to summerize her speech, told him how gratful she was for the oportunity he'd given her and her daughter, as well as for the chance he'd given her people. It was her monolouge to him that made Ezikel realize his purpose. He could help people, perhaps he couldn't do much, but maybe he could help be a guide of sorts to those fortunate enough to meet him. To this day he blames his cheesy, heroic quest on Melody. 
The mother soon fled into the night, after giving her daughter a name, Felicity. 

A long time passed before they found their most recent member. They found another world of mermainds, and although Xander wasn't a big ocean person, he deicded it was worth exploring since he didn't do much swimming anymore. During his exploration, he found what seemed to be a wild chase. A small, deep sea mermaid fleeing from a larger, shark like mermaid (it was a world with loooooots of different mermaids). Following them from a distance, Xander began comunicating with the preditory mermaid telpathically and irritaing them, throwing off their focus. with his distraction, he was able to help the smaller mermaid lead him straight into a large rock formation. Afterwards he caught up with her and they talked. Her family had apperently been forced up from the deeper waters and her mother and father died protecting her from the more vicious and larger mermaids. Left alone it turned out her kind were VERY solitary and no one would take her in, meaning she had to fend for herself in more dangerous waters. Of course, Xander took her to shore to meet his unique family but had to carry her around since, unlike him, she didn't have the ability to form legs. Needless to say, no one objected for her comming to stay with them. That adorable little glowfish in the bottom right became known as Alice.

Now all of them travel world to world as a little adoptive sort of family, I don't think I have the energy to explain how the "kids" age because like anything Lunaverse it's a bit complicated XD But I will give you the sort description for all the characters and their "age" and I'll explain how their whole aging thing works later

I actually plan to use Ezikel to explain how some of Lunaverse works in terms of time lines, what some the worlds are, how they work, and other fun complicated stuff that isn't inherently important to the story but I've created because I can and I love world building XD

Ezikel, Xander, and Jinx were adopted from someone that I can't remember for some reason...? If I find out I'll put it in XD Just know I didn't design em
Melody was adopted from a waaaay long time ago lmao 
And Alice was adopted from ;3c

You can basically request anything, ships, scenarios, whatever you want, the only real rule is that they gotta be within the realm of Lunaverse but that's pretty much it, go crazy
